2026年3月18日，由香港書法協會、中國古文字藝術學會、香港楹聯學會聯合主辦的「丙午馬年新春聯歡晚宴」，於旺角倫敦大酒樓三樓順利舉行。本次活動匯聚本港書法界名家，以筆墨會友、聯歡敍舊，盡顯中華傳統文化魅力。 晚宴由馮萬如、中帑、葉炯光三位先生牽頭籌辦，現場雲集張華慶、劉若儀、李錦賢、馬潤憲、方志勇、陳用、吳任、何一明、梁啟明、梁琰柱、婁耀敏、滕蘭、陳楚、陳志恒、陳定璟、莊志剛等香港知名書法家，舊雨新知歡聚一堂，共賀馬年新春。筆者雖當日下午及晚間均有授課，仍特地抽出兩小時到場參與即席揮毫，按主辦方囑托創作四幅書法作品，交由大會作為抽獎禮品，以筆墨為晚宴添彩。 據活動安排，當日下午5時至7時為即席揮毫環節，大會備齊紙筆墨硯與印泥，嘉賓、老師及書法愛好者可現場創作，墨寶均用於現場抽獎助興。隨後的節目表演環節，帶來歌唱、樂器演奏、卡拉OK等多元演出，氣氛熱烈。晚宴期間，主辦方代表及嘉賓先後致辭，展望馬年文藝發展，隨後進入聚餐聯歡環節，整場活動內容豐富、雅俗共賞。 此次新春聯歡以書法為紐帶，融合表演、抽獎、聯誼等環節，既為書法界同仁提供交流平台，也讓中華優秀傳統文化在新春氛圍中薪火相傳。活動全程免費參與，彰顯藝術公益之心，為香港文化界增添一抹濃郁墨香。 正是： 丙午春風聚藝林，香江翰墨共開襟。 揮毫同賀新年好，一席清歡雅韻深。 
On March 18, 2026, the "New Year Gala Dinner for the Year of the Horse" was successfully held third floor of London Restaurant in Mong Kok. Jointly organized by the Hong Kong Calligraphy Association, the Chinese Ancient Character Art Society, and the Hong Kong Couplets Society, the eght together renowned calligraphers from Hong Kong to gather, socialize, and reminisce, fully showcasing the charm of traditional Chinese culture. The dinner was organized by Mr Feng Wanru, Mr. Zhong Teng, and Mr. Ye Jiongguang. Renowned Hong Kong calligraphers such as Zhang Huaqingiu Ruoyi, Li Jinxian, Ma Runxian, Fang Zhiyong, Chen Yong, Wu Ren, He Yiming, Liang Qiming, L Yanzhu, Lou Yaomin, Teng Lan, Chen Chu, Chen Zhiheng, Chen Dingjing, and Zhuang Zhigang gathered at the venue. Old friends and cquaintances came together to celebrate the New Year of the Horse. Although the author had teaching duties in the afternoon and evening, they specially took two hours to attend and participate i on-the-spot calligraphy session, creating four calligraphy works at the request of the organizers to be used as lucky draw prizes, adding color to the dinner with brush and ink. Accothe schedule, the on-the-spot calligraphy session took place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The organizers provided paper, brushes, in, inkstones, and seal paste, allowing guests, teachers, and calligraphy enthusiasts to create works on the spot, all of which were used for the lucky draw. The subsequent performance segment featdiverse acts such as singing, instrumental performances, and karaoke, creating a lively atmosphere. During the dinner, representatives of the organizing committee and guests delivered speeches, looking forward to the def literature and art in the Year of the Horse, followed by the dinner and socializing session. The entire event was rich in content and appreciated by both the refined and the generublic. This New Year gathering used calligraphy as a bond, integrating performances, lucky draws, and socializing. It not only provided a platform for calligraphers to exchange ideas but ensured the passing down of excellent traditional Chinese culture amidst the festive atmosphere. The event was free to attend, demonstrating a spirit of artistic philanthropy and adding a rich ink aroma Hong Kong's cultural scene. Indeed: The spring breeze of Bingwu gathers the art world, In Fragrant Harbor, brush and ink open our hearts. We wield the brush together to crate the New Year, A feast of pure joy with deep elegance.
