香港DM德馬數字甲骨文集團 CEO / 林鏡德 LIN JING DE 註釋： 曾國藩於道光二十七年（1847年）三月贈予李如昆（字竹屋，別名竹吾）的對聯。 《文涵萬古江山氣》「文」指文章、文學、文化等，代表人類的精神創造和智慧結晶。「涵」有包含、涵養之意，強調一種內在的包容和積澱。「萬古」表示時間上的久遠，歷經漫長的歲月。「江山」既指自然的山川河流，也象征著國家、天下、歷史的大舞臺。「氣」可理解為氣勢、氣韻、精神氣質。 整句話的意思是文章中蘊含著萬古以來江山的雄渾氣勢和宏大氣韻。它體現了創作者在寫文章時，要有廣闊的視野和宏大的胸懷，不能局限於眼前的小事或個人的得失。要像江山一樣，歷經歲月的洗禮，承載著歷史的滄桑變遷，文章才能具有深厚的內涵和持久的生命力。 《道續千年絲竹聲》「道」的含義豐富，指道德、道理、規律，代表一種文化傳統、精神信仰或學術思想。「續」是延續、傳承的意思。「千年」同樣強調時間的漫長，說明這種「道」有著悠久的歷史和深厚的根基。「絲竹」在古代常用來指代音樂，因為絲弦樂器和竹製樂器是古代音樂的主要組成部分。這裏「絲竹聲」不僅僅指音樂的聲音，更象征著一種高雅的文化藝術和審美情趣。 整句話的意思是某種精神、文化或傳統能夠像千年不斷的絲竹聲一樣，得以延續和傳承。強調了文化傳承的重要性。絲竹聲作為一種高雅的藝術形式，歷經千年而不衰，代表著一種優秀的文化傳統。這裏的「道」可以理解為這種文化傳統所蘊含的精神內核和價值觀念。曾國藩希望這種優秀的文化能夠像絲竹聲一樣，代代相傳，不斷發揚光大。 
A couplet presented by Zeng Guofan to Li Ruquan (Zi Zhuyu, also as Zhuwu) in March of the 27th year of the Daoguang era (1847). "Wen Han Wan Guiang Shan Qi" The "Wen" refers to articles, literature, culture, etc., representing the creation of human spirit and the crystallization of wisdom. "H" has the meaning of containing and nourishing, emphasizing an inherent tolerance and accumulation. "Wan Gu" indicates the vastness of time, enduring through long ages. "J Shan" refers to the natural mountains and rivers, and also symbolizes the stage of the nation, the world, and history. "Qi" can be understood as momentum,, and spiritual temperament. The whole sentence means that articles contain the vast and grand momentum and charm of the mountains and rivers since ancient times. It embodies the creators broad vision and grand mind when writing articles, not limited to trivial matters or personal gains and losses. Like the mountains and rivers, after being washed by time and bearing theissitudes of history, the articles can have profound connotations and lasting vitality. "Dao Xu Qian Nian Si Zhu Sheng" The meaning of "" is rich, referring to morality, reason, and principles, representing a cultural tradition, spiritual belief, or academic thought. "Xu" means continuation and inheritance. "ian Nian" also emphasizes the vastness of time, indicating that this "Dao" has a long history and deep roots. "Si Zhu" was often used in ancient to refer to music because stringed instruments and bamboo wind instruments were the main components of ancient music. Here, "Si Zhu Sheng" not only refers to the sound of but also symbolizes a noble culture and artistic taste. The whole sentence means that a certain spirit, culture, or tradition can be continued and inherited like the never-ending of silk and bamboo. It emphasizes the importance of cultural inheritance. As a noble art form, the sound of silk and bamboo has not declined over a thousand years, representing an excellent tradition. Here, the "Dao" can be understood as the spiritual core and values contained in this cultural tradition. Zeng Guofan hopes that this excellent culture can be passed from generation to generation and continuously developed like the sound of silk and bamboo.
